Well, I’m Back from DOWN UNDER!

Well, I’m back from my trip of a lifetime. Five glorious weeks with “me mum” as they say Down Under. It was glorious, magical, memorable and I will treasure every moment in my heart as long as I live.
I held a Koala and fed Kangaroos in Australia, watched Lance Armstrong wiz by on his bike at the Tour Down Under, milked a cow and feed baby lambs in New Zealand, and fell in love with a little girl in Fiji named, Tupou.
We spent unforgettable time in Adelaide with family, wonderful friends in Sydney and Melbourne, cruised the southern part of Australia, Tasmania and the entire length of New Zealand for 15 days and I only gained 5 lbs, ok, maybe 10 lbs. but who’s counting. We toured 11 Ports of Call, visited friends in Wellington and Auckland; I got burned to a crisp in Fiji using #50 SPF and covering myself with towels; took over 1300 pictures AND I would do it all over again tomorrow - if only I could beam myself over like Scotty did in Star Trek and not have to fly!
I thank the Lord for restoring my health 100% so that I could experience this with my amazing mother, who is my example of how to live life to the fullest at 80 years young!

It is wonderful to read about your trip to Australia. Re-connecting with family across the world is such a treasure.
We too have family in Australia whom we have recently met for the first time.
Life is so short and the things that count are our family and the heritage that is uniquely ours.
I spend my time helping others use the blessing of technology to capture precious memories and family stories and share them in storybook form. It is such a rewarding endevor.
